In the early hours of a winter morning, Joe (Bryan Larkin) and Kayla (Anna Kerth) are moments away from an emotionally traumatic experience that will soon change their lives forever – the loss of a loved one; there are few things more life-changing that make us come to terms with our own humanity and question the purpose of our existence.

As Joe and Kayla courageously attempt to rebuild their lives, an unsympathetic world watches over their quest of hope for a new beginning. They remain unaware of the extraordinary impact they are having on each other that will ultimately shape their destiny. They struggle to change the paths of their fate, battling the chaos within them that will ultimately lead their two souls to a heart rending conclusion of tragedy, hope and of love.

Directed by Dale Corlett, written by Corlett and lead player Bryan Larkin, and co-starring Kenneth Cranham, Running in Traffic is a character based drama that explores the emotional journey we undertake as we strive to rebuild our lives after emotionally traumatic experiences. Everything is connected. Running in Traffic explores a theory that the universe is responsible for bringing a natural end to all things relating to our personal lives: our love, fears, hopes, dreams, guilt, happiness and how we grow in our hearts and in our minds through unconscious connections. These connections, which may not be obvious, can often be inevitable in conclusion with desirable or undesirable effects for those connected.
